Hello, I’m May. I believe that mindfulness is more than just a technique; it is a way to find our center when the world feels uncertain. My approach to teaching is deeply personal. It is rooted in my own life experiences and the quiet strength I found during my most difficult moments.
My Journey Raised in a Buddhist tradition, I practiced meditation for many years because it felt good. However, it became a necessity during the pandemic. At that time, I was on the other side of the globe while my mother’s health failed. Because of closed borders, I could not be there. Losing my father just six months after my mother was a staggering blow.
In those moments, my practice was truly tested. Meditation held me together, providing the clarity and calm I needed to survive. This experience transformed my practice from a habit into a lifeline, and it is what inspired me to begin my teaching journey.
